A healthcare organization is seeking a confident Social Worker II in Grande Prairie to provide vital psychosocial services to patients and their families. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $38.56 to $51.27 per hour and the option for a Remote Retention Allowance.

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS/Recovery Alberta currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter-disciplinary team and provides a range of social work services to patients and their families. Your services may include: psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, individual, group and family treatment, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public awareness activities.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of child and youth development. Willingness to work in both office and community settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of community and North Zone Child and Youth resources.
