Alberta Hospital Edmonton is seeking a Social Worker II to join an inter-disciplinary team in a range of psychiatric programs including Adult Acute, Rehabilitation, and Forensics. The role offers casual/relief status with opportunities for varied shifts across Days, Evenings, Nights and Weekends.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessment, intervention planning, risk screening, counselling, and discharge planning within inpatient contexts.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work is required.
• Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
• Experience in inpatient programs and addictions or mental health settings is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide psychosocial assessment and resource-based interventions.
• Deliver individual, group, and family treatment.
• Conduct risk screening and counselling as part of the care team.
• Coordinate case management, transition or discharge planning.
• Participate in prevention, promotion, and public awareness activities.
