Hours: 75 hours, bi-weekly
Salary: $42.21 - $52.76 per hour
Shifts: M-F 8:00am-4:00pm, with rotating weekends
Status: Temporary, Full time; 7 months with possibility of extension

The Myrna Daniels Seniors Emergency Medicine Centre aims to be a world leader in every domain of seniors’ emergency care through building an innovative physical space, designing a transformative model of clinical care, seamlessly integrating with community partners, and producing leading-edge research and education. Seniors are the fastest growing demographic in Canada and require increasingly complex interventions resulting in an urgent need to develop, test and disseminate novel and sustainable approaches that can better meet the needs of an ageing population. The Centre is the first of its kind in Canada and aims to address these challenges through generating and translating new knowledge in the field of seniors’ emergency medicine regionally and internationally.
The scope of SEM Centre encompasses the Toronto General ED, the Toronto Western ED and a future dedicated space for the Myrna Daniels Seniors Emergency Medicine Centre. Our aim is to ensure that all older adults can receive the same quality of care, regardless of site.
As an integral member of the interprofessional team, the Social Worker (RSW) provides services based on standards of quality and evidence-based practice.
