Job summary

Autismservices in Saskatchewan seeks a Pay Band Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) to deliver mental health intake and short-term counselling services. The role includes direct client work, coordination of referrals, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth service delivery.

The incumbent will provide guidance, develop treatment plans, and support clients and families in accessing external services as needed. A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mental Health intake services across the area and short-term counselling for individuals and families.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth intake delivery and timely referrals.

• Assist clients in navigating services outside the program and coordinate with staff for referrals.

Job Description

The incumbent will provide Mental Health intake services to Mental Health and Addiction Services throughout the area, as well as providing some short-term counselling / therapeutic services to individuals and families. These services will be delivered through a combination of direct service, consultation, community resource development, and education. The incumbent will work as part of an interdisciplinary team. The incumbent is accountable for overseeing smooth delivery of intake services and the delivery of referrals for services internally to the appropriate program and staff. As well, the incumbent will provide some appropriate assistance to clients in the form of suggestions, guidance and / or direction to help clients obtain services external to Mental Health and Addictions.
