Social Worker, Counselling Therapist, Counsellor - Trauma Response

Locations: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, or Prince Edward Island (any location)

Summary:

You will provide group Critical Incident Response to TELUS Health's organizational clients as an independent contractor.

What you will do:
  1. Provide Critical Incident Response to our organizational clients;
  2. Travel to on-site locations in NB, NS, NL, or PEI;
  3. Manage administrative requirements as dictated by TELUS Health's Trauma department.
Who we are looking for:
  • Master’s degree in counselling, psychology, or social work;
  • Registration with a College or Association; in absence of a College, valid professional liability insurance is required;
  • CISM, CISD training or EMDR certification is an asset;
  • Experience delivering group debriefings and/or running counselling groups;
  • Ability to convey sensitivity, professionalism, and an effective approach when facilitating interventions within the corporate environment;
  • Flexibility to respond to client needs.
