What You'll Do

• Provide single-session counselling to adults for various issues.
• Offer referrals and support information about available services.
• Manage administrative responsibilities related to the role.

What You Bring

• Master’s Degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Counselling Psychology (mandatory).
• Membership with Nova Scotia College of Social Workers or Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (mandatory).
• At least three years of post-Masters clinical experience.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work within a single-session model.
• Solution-focused approach and ability to set short-term objectives.
• Capability to manage high-risk cases clinically.
• Ability to articulate and provide resources and support post-consultation.
