Interior Health is seeking a Casual Registered Social Worker at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. The role involves comprehensive assessment, care planning, and coordination for designated clients and their families, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will provide psychosocial care, counseling, group work, system navigation, and advocacy to support client self-management and access to specialized resources. A BC social work license and a BC driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
  • Two years recent related experience in a healthcare setting working with medically complex clients with concurrent disorders, or a combination of education, training and experience.
  • Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
  • Current valid BC driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • The Social Worker provides comprehensive assessment, care planning and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families.
