Job description

• Receiving calls and investigating applicant needs (domestic violence or suicide).
• Providing intervention services by phone (listening, helping, and referring).
• Responding to various requests for clinical information (programs, process objectives, eligibility criteria, etc.).
• Planning and conducting one-on-one meetings.
• Writing (completing case files and various follow-up tools related to intervention activities).
• Following up on patient files by phone.
• Participating in group sessions.
• Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements

• DCS or technical degree in Social Work.
• Intervention experience with men (an asset).
• Crisis intervention experience (a significant asset).
• Certified suicide prevention training – if not, training will be provided upon hiring.
• At least two years of community experience in intervention.
• Written and oral fluency in French.
• Attendance of at least three clinical coaching meetings.
