Child and Family Services of Western Manitoba is accepting applications for a full-time term Social Work Assistant to support Family Service Social Workers in strengthening family units through a variety of services, including direct in-home support, supporting therapeutic access, and providing parent education and mentoring. This is a term position to commence as soon as possible and conclude Friday, April 16, 2027. This term position may conclude sooner than mid-April 2027, subject to a minimum two week notice period. The successful applicant will work 36.25 hours per week, predominantly Monday to Friday. The successful applicant must have access to a vehicle for work use and hold a valid Manitoba Class 5 (5F) Driver's License. Once completed the orientation period, the successful applicant will be provided a car allowance, which will be paid bi-weekly. This position is subject to a six-month probationary period. This position falls within a Collective Agreement ratified between the Agency and MGEU (Local 461), with wages determined by the SWA salary scale.
