We invite applications for a 4-month contract teaching opportunity at St. Anne's School as a Social Science, English, and Learning Support teacher reporting to the Assistant Head of School, Director of Upper School. This contract position will begin in late February and end on June 23, 2027, with the possibility of extension.

The school seeks an exceptional educator to teach Social Science and English at the Upper School level and to work with students who require academic support, helping them develop skills and strategies to best support their learning. The individual in this role will collaborate with colleagues to ensure program excellence, with an expectation of high standards of learning, student progress, and support. In consultation with members of the faculty and the Director of Academics, the teacher will be expected to prepare and deliver an innovative and inclusive curriculum, compelling instructional practices, and consistent department policy and alignment with the Growing Success criteria.

We seek applications from certified teachers holding a Bachelor of Education, with intermediate/senior English and social science qualifications, which can include the humanities, geography and history, in addition to Learning Specialist qualifications. Candidates will bring a thorough understanding of the Ontario curriculum and the Growing Success requirements. Other key requisites of this role include demonstrated leadership and communication skills and a sustained commitment to professional growth and improvement.

We seek educators who can engage, empower, and actively prepare young women to fulfill their role in the world and who will assist in building a progressive, supportive, and innovative community. If you are the kind of teacher with a deep sense of purpose, desirous of the autonomy to lead, and seeking support for personal growth, tell us your story.

If you would like to teach in an all-girls school that fosters a culture of collegiality and warmth and offers an opportunity to work in a beautiful and unique setting with access to the best technology and professional development, we would like to hear from you.
