Partners in Mental Health and Well-Being in Saskatchewan is seeking a Social Recreation Support Worker to develop and facilitate recreational, support, and social programming for individuals experiencing mental illness or wellbeing challenges.

You will lead Drop-In Centre activities, organize community events, assist with After Hours Group transport and supervision, and support groups within a collaborative team.

Qualificações

• One year of experience in a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate Drop-In Centre programming, as scheduled, and engage with individuals accessing services.
• Organize and support community activities which may include volunteering opportunities and connections to other service providers.
• Assist when needed with the After Hours Group including transport, set up, supervision, and clean-up.
• Assist or facilitate support groups when required.
• Work as part of a team which includes Social Recreation Support Workers, Peer Support Workers, and casual staff.
• Monitor and report any changes in client behaviour, suggestions for new programming and ways to enhance overall service delivery to the supervisor.
