Job summary

Clio is seeking a social media writer to help scale its presence across key channels. You will craft engaging posts about company news, product launches, customer stories, and executive perspectives, ensuring Clio’s voice remains consistent.

You will manage a high-frequency publishing cadence, adapt content for LinkedIn, TikTok, and Reddit, and analyze performance to improve engagement and reach. Collaboration across teams is essential.

What your team does:

Clio’s Corporate Communications team knows how to tell a great story and make waves across the industry. We shape Clio’s brand awareness, credibility, and public presence through media relations, social media, executive communications, thought leadership, and engagement with the legaltech community.

Social media is an important part of how we bring that work to market. We move quickly, publish frequently, and look for creative ways to connect Clio’s people, products, customers, and ideas with the audiences that matter.

What you'll work on:

• Drafting and publishing organic social content across priority channels, turning company news, product launches, customer stories, executive perspectives, and timely ideas into engaging posts;
• Supporting a high-frequency publishing cadence that keeps Clio consistently visible across social channels;
• Adapting ideas and content for different platforms and formats, including LinkedIn and emerging opportunities across platforms such as TikTok and Reddit;
• Monitoring conversations, responding to comments, and engaging thoughtfully with Clio’s audiences while surfacing relevant opportunities and potential risks;
• Tracking social performance and identifying trends and insights that can improve engagement, reach, and future content;
• Working across Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and other teams to find stories and ensure our social channels reflect the breadth and pace of activity across Clio;
• Creating and editing short-form video content to support Clio’s growing use of video across social platforms;
• Partnering with executives and internal contributors to refine and publish content while maintaining a consistent Clio voice and narrative;
• Staying current on platform trends, emerging formats, and conversations across technology, AI, legaltech, and the legal industry;
• Experimenting with new formats, channels, and approaches to continually improve how Clio shows up on social.

What you bring:

• 1–3 years of experience managing or supporting organic social media accounts;
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging social content;
• A strong understanding of major social platforms and how audiences, formats, and content performance differ across them;
• Experience using social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar platforms;
• An interest in using data and audience insights to improve content performance;
• Strong judgment and attention to detail, particularly when publishing in fast-moving environments;
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and move quickly without sacrificing quality;
• A collaborative mindset and comfort working with contributors across different teams and levels of an organization.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience supporting social media for a B2B or technology company;
• Experience creating or editing short-form video content;
• Experience working with distributed teams or cross-functional partners;
• Experience using AI tools to support content creation, ideation, or optimization;
• Familiarity with the legal or legaltech industry;
• Experience supporting executive social media or thought leadership.

The expected salary range for this role is $64,900 to $87,900 CAD. Initial placement within the range is informed by geographic region, experience, and skillset, with room to progress as impact and tenure grow. Final offer amounts will vary based on candidate profile.
