Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of digital marketing initiatives and social media engagement. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, design, and digital communication, with a desire to grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Operations & Cadence – Run the day-to-day publishing calendar across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, maintaining the marketing strategy’s high-frequency rhythm for educational, engagement, and credibility-led content.
- Repurposing from the Weekly Podcast – Turn each episode into a steady stream of short-form clips, carousels, and post variations; coordinate handoffs with editing resources; QA outputs before go-live.
- Creative Packaging – Help craft hooks, captions, subtitles, and thumbnails that match each platform’s norms while staying on brand and compliant for financial services.
- Conversion Alignment – Pair social posts with website copy, strong CTAs, and avatar/ICP landing pages; ensure links, forms, and tracking are correct for each campaign/drop.
- LeadGen Support – Operationalize offers/lead magnets (books, whitepapers, assessments) within social posts and link paths; coordinate with web for smooth capture and follow-up.
- Community & Brand Stewardship – Monitor comments/DMs, escalate questions, engage with industry people/businesses, and uphold a professional, empathetic voice that reflects our brand and audience expectations.
- Analytics & Iteration – Track channel metrics, UTMs, and click-throughs to landing pages; provide weekly insights to optimize topics, formats, hooks, and CTAs.
- Workflow Discipline – Operate within the team’s schedule and responsibilities matrix, keep assets organized, flag bottlenecks, and suggest process improvements that speed execution.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years in social media/digital marketing with hands-on publishing across LinkedIn, YouTube/Shorts, Instagram/Reels, and TikTok, ideally within a video-centric program.
- Skill in platform native packaging (hooks, captions, subtitles, thumbnails) and familiarity with basic editing tools (e.g., Canva/Adobe) and podcast workflows.
- Experience aligning social content with web updates, CTAs, landing pages, and lead magnets; working knowledge of UTMs, attribution modelling, GA4, and in-platform analytics.
- Strong copywriting and attention to brand standards; awareness of compliance expectations for financial services communications.
- Excellent organization and communication; comfortable coordinating across internal contributors and external editors/freelancers on a tight weekly cycle.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Riverside and HubSpot (or similar), and experience within the finance sector.
Success Measures (first 6–12 months)
- Cadence Reliability: Consistent, on-schedule output tied to the weekly podcast, with healthy repurposing into shortform across priority channels.
- Channel Growth & Engagement: Sustained lift in reach, watch time, saves/shares, and follower growth for educational/credibility content.
- Conversion Readiness: Measurable clickthrough to avatar-specific pages and CTAs/lead magnets, with accurate tracking and clear weekly insights for optimization.
