  • Proven experience managing social platforms in a creative field—real estate experience is an asset.
  • Comfort behind and in front of the camera.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel across GTA and Barrie.

Job description

Location : Hybrid -GTA & Barrie (must have access to a car)

Schedule : Monday to Thursday (10 AM - 4 PM on-site), Fridays work-from-home

Salary : $55 base + $10K performance bonus

Growth Path :

  • $5K salary increase in 2026 upon your one-year anniversary with the team
  • $10K increase in 2027 (long-term reward)
  • $2,500 for each new social account launched
  • Team milestone-based bonuses
  • Long weekend flexibility (Friday or Monday off)
  • Full company benefits available after 3 months with the team
  • Access to in-house graphic designer, animator & web developer
  • Tools & memberships provided (filming gear, Canva Pro, CapCut, InShot, etc.)

Our projects include infill developments, multiplexes, and high-end rental buildings that redefine what modern living looks like. With everything done in-house - from architecture to leasing to marketing - Midnight is becoming the go-to name in real estate across Barrie and the GTA.

Your Role

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll shape how people see, feel, and connect with Midnight online. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you’ll lead content strategy, manage accounts, and drive digital storytelling across platforms. Whether you're capturing on-site footage or crafting a clever caption, your creativity and vision will define how we show up in the digital space.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Storytelling & Content Creation

  • Create polished, high-performing content that reflects our brand: luxury meets bold personality.
  • Weave in subtle chess themes like strategy, precision, and leadership - Checkmate Living.
  • Capture and edit behind-the-scenes footage, project tours, and team culture moments.
  • Craft relatable, engaging captions that reflect a luxury-but-approachable tone.

2. Multi-Platform Management

  • Manage and grow @SellingMidnight and @MidnightBrokerage across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Tailor content to specific audiences: renters, buyers, investors, and agents.
  • Monitor trends and adjust strategy to stay relevant and impactful.

3. Paid Ads & Performance Tracking

  • Oversee digital ad spend and campaign budgets across all social media accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing manager on creative direction and messaging.
  • Monitor performance and adjust targeting to generate quality leads.

4. Lead Generation & Brand Building

  • Drive traffic to custom home intake forms and generate leads for our built-for-sale luxury builds.
  • Build a strong pipeline of high-intent renters for our Barrie rental communities.
  • Position Midnight as a one-stop shop for modern real estate solutions.
  • Reinforce our full-service model: design, build, lease, market - all under one roof.

5. Community & Team Integration

  • Film on-site content at projects and events 4x a week (Mon-Thurs).
  • Feature the Midnight team to strengthen connection and authenticity.
  • Oversee The Owl Express (our newsletter) with support from our marketing team.
  • Hours may vary from time to time, including occasional evenings and weekends to capture key content or events.
  • Any adjusted hours will be balanced within the workweek - this is not an overtime-based role.

What You Bring

  • A strong sense of aesthetic, aligned with quiet luxury + bold storytelling.
  • Proven experience managing and growing social platforms in a creative field - real estate experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Comfort behind and in front of the camera.
  • Strategic thinking with a clear understanding of branding and positioning.
  • Confident in leading content direction, while staying open to feedback and collaboration.
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle for regular travel between GTA and Barrie.
