Position Overview

INSPYRD Inc. is seeking a creative, mission-aligned Marketing and Social Media Manager with strong videography skills to lead the production of educational and promotional content featuring Trauma Advocate Allen Kanerva. This role is ideal for a purpose-driven marketer who excels in content strategy, storytelling, and visual communication — and who is passionate about trauma recovery, neuroscience-informed coaching, and mental wellness.

As a key contributor to our growing team, you will play a pivotal role in developing compelling multimedia content that amplifies our message of healing and hope. Your work will directly impact how coaches, therapists, and the public connect with our programs and digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Brand Messaging

  • Develop and implement multi-channel content strategies (reels, short- and long-form videos, testimonials, blog teasers, workshop promos).
  • Create professional, emotionally resonant video content featuring Allen Kanerva, success stories with clients and coaches.
  • Ensure consistency with INSPYRD’s brand voice : compassionate, credible, evidence-based trauma protocol.

Videography & Editing

  • Plan, shoot, and edit engaging videos using professional-grade tools, supplied in-house at our Guelph content creation studio.
  • Capture content from live coaching, interviews, training sessions, and events.
  • Organize digital media assets for ease of reuse and long-term storytelling impact.

Social Media Management

  • Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Tailor and optimize posts for reach, engagement, and alignment with platform algorithms.
  • Stay up to date with trends in trauma-informed spaces and digital wellness communities.

Campaign Development

  • Design lead-generating marketing campaigns for courses, coaching programs, and live events.
  • Support email marketing campaigns with our business manager (Mailchimp or similar) with multimedia assets and analytics.
  • Create downloadable PDFs, carousel posts, and thought leadership features that promote INSPYRD’s mission.

Performance Analysis

  • Monitor and report on content performance using analytics tools.
  • Adjust strategies based on engagement, video watch time, and social growth metrics.
  • Work closely with the INSPYRD team to co-create strategic messaging.
  • Support INSPYRD’s video content creation, promotional launches, and live event coverage.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing, videography, and social media strategy.
  • Strong portfolio with examples of high-impact content, especially in wellness or education.
  • Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Skilled in Canva, Meta Business Suite, and other content tools.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills.
  • Passion for personal development, trauma recovery, and psychological wellness.
  • Bonus : Experience marketing for non-profits, coaching programs, or educational platforms.
