You'll engage audiences through captivating content, cover live events, and collaborate across departments to ensure a consistent brand voice. Oak View Group is the global leader in venue development, management, and premium hospitality services for the live event industry. Offering an unmatched, 360-degree solution set for a collection of world-class owned venues and a client roster that includes the most influential, highest attended arenas, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions on the planet.
Are you a passionate live music fan with your finger on the pulse of pop culture? A social media wiz who lives for the energy of a sold-out show? We’re searching for someone to join our entertainment marketing team who thrives in the noise and excitement of the live concert experience — and knows how to translate that energy into scroll-stopping digital content.
The ideal candidate is fluent in the ever-evolving social media landscape, active across major platforms, and understands what it takes to engage digital audiences. This person is both creative and strategic, with the ability to produce original content and execute on a plan — and has the design skills to bring visuals to life across multiple brands and mediums. While this role focuses primarily on music and live events, there may be opportunities to contribute to sports-related content as well.
This role is a hybrid of social strategy, hands-on content creation, and graphic design support. From covering concerts and editing videos to designing social assets and building signage or marketing materials, you’ll be the digital voice and visual support behind Hamilton Arena, FirstOntario Concert Hall, and The Studio. A flexible schedule is key — you’ll work from home, in the office, and on-site at shows and events in Hamilton. You’ll help build and grow our social media presence while supporting broader design needs across the department.
This is not your typical 9–5 job. A major part of our storytelling happens when the lights go down — so you’ll be expected to attend events as needed, including evenings and weekends.
This role pays an annual salary of $55,000-$70,000 CAD.
Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, Pension matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays).
This position will remain open until August 8, 2025.
