Job summary

The ONE Campaign is seeking a Social Media and Design Coordinator (North America) to help shape engagement for Canada and the United States. Based in Ottawa or Washington, DC, you’ll build an editorial function and rapid-response capability, crafting content that resonates with specific audiences rather than duplicating across borders.

You will work with the Media Relations Manager and a cross-continental team, drafting bilingual social copy, designing assets, and tracking performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, liberal arts focused on political science, communications, or similar.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional/intern experience.
• Proficient with Canva and basic design tools; video creation/editing a strong asset.
• Ability to tailor content to Canadian and US audiences.

Responsibilities

• Draft, schedule, and publish social media content across North America channels in English and French.
• Design and format campaign materials and assets.
• Support rapid-response content and turn breaking policy news into publishable assets.
• Draft social copy with clear advocacy asks and actions.
• Monitor trends and propose native formats for each platform.
• Repurpose material across platforms and markets.
• Track performance and translate metrics into recommendations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Europe and Africa.
