Job description

We’re looking for a social-first content creator who lives and breathes food, knows how to work a camera, and understands what makes audiences stop scrolling. You’ll lead the development of lifestyle and food content for President’s Choice (PC), PC Optimum, and PC Financial—playing a hands-on role in concepting, shooting, editing, and producing content across platforms.

This role sits within our enterprise Social Media Centre of Excellence (SCOE), supporting the Control Brands portfolio. You’ll collaborate with brand and creative partners to deliver high-performing content that’s timely, thumb-stopping, and always on-brand.


Key Responsibilities
  • Concept, create, and produce platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and more—with a strong emphasis on food-forward storytelling
  • Act as both talent and producer: style, shoot, edit, and deliver social-first photo and video content featuring our products
  • Partner with brand teams and our in-house Creative Director to translate marketing priorities into social ideas that spark engagement and drive results
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and content managers to bring fully integrated content ideas to life
  • Own the end-to-end production process, including storyboarding, organizing shoots, prepping shot lists, and editing deliverables
  • Present and pitch ideas to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence
  • Stay on top of trends in food, content, and creator culture—bringing proactive recommendations forward regularly
  • Contribute to our evolving social playbook and help raise the creative bar across the organization
What You’ll Need
  • A strong interest in food—with experience cooking, styling, and filming food content a must
  • Demonstrated ability to concept, shoot, and edit social-first content independently
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms and what content performs on each
  • Excellent visual storytelling instincts with an eye for detail and design
  • Experience as on-camera talent or behind the camera as a creator
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work across disciplines and levels
  • 3+ years of experience in social media content creation or production
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, media, or a related field
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Suite, Canva) and familiarity with social management and listening platforms
