Social-First Content Creator (Full-Time)

TLDR: Serotina is hiring an experienced, hands‑on Content Creator to capture, produce, and ideate standout social media content in real time, on‑site with our clients. If you’re plugged into trends, sharp behind (and in front of) the camera, fluent in French and English, and you do your best work in the field rather than behind a desk, we want to meet you.

Location: Montréal, Québec. This is an in‑person role (Saint‑Laurent + client locations), not remote.

Who Are You?

You’re a creative, proactive Content Creator who’s happiest in the field, capturing real content as it happens. You live and breathe social media, you know what makes content perform, and you can turn an everyday moment on a client site into a scroll‑stopping story.

You shoot, edit, and pitch ideas with confidence, and you don’t wait to be told what to capture, you see the moment and get it. You’re comfortable owning content end‑to‑end on‑site, working directly alongside brands, creators, and strategists.

This is a hands‑on, in‑person role for someone who already knows how to make great social content and wants to do it every day, in the room where it’s happening.

What You’ll Do

Content Capture & Creation

• Capture real‑time content on‑site with clients (BTS, lifestyle, talking head, trend‑based content).
• Shadow clients and team members to document authentic moments and brand stories.
• Film content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social‑first platforms.

Ideation & Creative Input

• Contribute to content ideas, hooks, and formats based on current trends.
• Participate in brainstorms and bring a fresh, culturally relevant perspective.
• Identify spontaneous content opportunities in real time.

Editing & Post‑Production

• Edit short‑form video content using tools like CapCut or native platform editors.
• Add text overlays, captions, and simple effects aligned with brand tone.
• Prepare content for posting (formatting, exporting, light organization).

Collaboration & Workflow

• Work closely with strategists and account managers to align on content needs.
• Support content days, shoots, and ongoing client mandates.
• Stay organized and responsive in a fast‑paced environment.

General

• Attend in‑person content days and team meetings.
• Submit task reports and maintain accurate time tracking in Teamwork per Company policy.
• Communicate promptly during business hours (Monday to Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays).

What We’re Looking For

• Bilingual (French & English) required.
• Based in Montréal and able to travel to Saint‑Laurent and client locations. This is an in‑person role.
• 2+ years creating social‑first content, ideally in an agency or in‑house brand team.
• Strong short‑form video skills, comfortable filming with an iPhone or camera and editing in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar.
• Deep, current understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and social trends.
• A sharp creative eye for content, angles, and moments, and the instinct to capture them independently on‑site.
• Proactive, dependable, and quick to adapt in real‑time environments.
