Job Description

The Social Coordinator is a vital part of the social media team, focusing on executing social media strategies based on meaningful insights to achieve measurable results. The role includes comprehensive training and ongoing professional development through hands-on experience. Key skills include analytical thinking, proficiency in math, creative problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Social Specialist and Supervisors in managing and executing social media plans.
  • Support the development and organization of data for social media strategies and recommendations.
  • Communicate with local clients regarding tactical social media activities and facilitate information sharing.
  • Manage contracts and insertion orders with media vendors, including revisions.
  • Input social media buys, reconcile discrepancies, and manage media spend actualization.
  • Assist with billing processes, including automation for Facebook.
  • Update blocking charts, budgets, and summaries as needed.
  • Support media research and coordinate with creative teams.
  • Update competitive media reports and prepare technical support for presentations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications.
  • Proven success in academic and professional settings.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Technical proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
