Job description

Job Description: Alteo is looking for a SOC & Compliance Analyst for a permanent position based in Montreal.

Your main role will be to ensure IT security. You will intervene in cybersecurity incidents and participate in the continuous improvement of detection and prevention methods, ensuring compliance with standards, technical imperatives, and contractual SLAs.

Responsibilities:
  1. Detect and respond to cybersecurity attacks to control risks:
    • Ensure analysis and investigation of alerts raised by the SOC.
    • Develop proposals and responses to incidents, in coordination with the concerned entities.
  2. Contribute to the daily operations of the SOC to ensure its performance:
    • Parameterize and configure the SOC.
    • Contribute to reporting and dashboards to monitor SOC activities.
  3. Ensure compliance of processes and systems with security standards:
    • Ensure compliance with standard norms.
    • Contribute to the distribution of documents, procedures, and tools related to compliance.
    • Develop procedures for monitoring and controlling compliance.
  4. Develop colleagues' skills to improve team performance:
    • Provide guidance, support, and assistance to team members.
Profile:
  • DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with the electronic payment industry (asset).
  • Knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP security, log management, forensic analysis, security & quality standards (PCI, ISO).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented, committed, proactive, and problem-solver.
  • Strong reporting, monitoring, and relational skills.
  • Team spirit, flexibility, and ability to support and assist others.
  • Experience in meeting management and involvement in quality processes.
