Job summary

Mosaic Sales Solutions Canada Operating Co. is seeking personnel for in-store sampling at Sobeys locations across Ottawa. The role is permanent part-time with casual shifts throughout the year, and training is provided before your first shift.

Scheduling is based on business needs and shifts Thursday through Sunday. Responsibilities include promoting products, answering questions, meeting sampling targets, preparing simple samples, and maintaining the sampling station with post-shift reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Smart Serve Certification and Food Safety Certificate prior to the interview
• Must be fully available Thursday-Sunday
• Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
• Driver and access to own car is an asset
• Confident engaging with customers and delivering key product messaging
• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and assist with setup/teardown
• Access to a smartphone with photo capabilities and to complete reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and represent brands professionally in a retail environment

Schedule

• Thursday & Friday: 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

• Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $21/per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote products and offer samples to shoppers in local Sobeys grocery stores

• Share key product information and answer customer questions

• Meet sampling targets while delivering engaging customer interactions

• Prepare simple food and beverage samples (e.g., coffee, desserts)

• Complete reporting after each shift
