Job summary

Mosaic is seeking a Brand Ambassador to promote products and provide samples to shoppers at local Sobeys stores. You will share product information, answer questions, and aim to meet sampling targets while delivering engaging customer interactions.

This permanent part-time role offers ongoing casual shifts with training provided before your first shift. Shifts run Thu-Sun; you must be able to stand for long periods and maintain a professional presence while representing brands in retail settings.

• Ability to communicate product benefits and answer questions clearly.
• Comfort with standing for extended periods and handling sampling setup.

Position Details

This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering ongoing casual shifts throughout the

year. Scheduling is based on business needs, and weekly shifts are not guaranteed.

Training is also provided before your first shift!

Schedule:

• Thursday & Friday: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Salary:

• $21/per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote products and offer samples to shoppers in local Sobeys grocery stores
• Share key product information and answer customer questions
• Meet sampling targets while delivering engaging customer interactions
• Prepare simple food and beverage samples (e.g., coffee, desserts)
• Maintain a clean and organized sampling station (set up, maintain, and tear down)
• Complete reporting after each shift

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have Food Handler and Smart Serve Certificate prior to the interview
• Must be fully available Thursday-Sunday
• Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
• Confident engaging with customers and delivering key product messaging
• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and assist with the setup and teardown of the sampling station (all materials stored on-site)
• Access to a smartphone with photo capabilities and to complete reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and represent brands professionally in a retail environment
