Snr Software Developer to support a HR-to-Pay Web-based applications technology

Our valued client is looking for a Snr Software Developer to support a HR-to-Pay Web-based applications technology.

Initial 5-month contract with potential renewal for an additional 4 months, 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and prepare diagrammatic plans for solutions to business, scientific, and technical problems using large and complex computer systems.
  2. Design detailed programs, flow charts, and diagrams indicating mathematical computations and sequences of machine operations to process data and generate results.
  3. Translate flow charts into coded instructions and collaborate with technical personnel in planning programs.
  4. Verify program accuracy and completeness through sample data testing and system acceptance tests conducted by operating personnel.
  5. Revise instructions or alter operation sequences to correct program errors.
  6. Document applications with instructions, flow charts, diagrams, layouts, and specifications for future reference or modification.
  7. Optimize application performance to meet user expectations and efficiently handle loads.
  8. Participate in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely project delivery.

Must have Skills:

  • At least ten years of experience within the last twelve years as a Programmer/Software Developer, performing at least 5 of the following 7 tasks, with each task demonstrated for a minimum of six months:
  1. Analyzing functional requirements for application design, development, and implementation.
  2. Developing and maintaining configuration and programs based on approved requirements, working independently and in teams.
  3. Creating technical specifications documents from functional specifications provided by functional and integration teams.
  4. Creating and modifying software configurations and code according to technical specifications.
  5. Producing reports, manuals, programs, data files, and procedures for applications.
  6. Analyzing code and objects to assess functional fit.
  7. Verifying program accuracy and completeness through sample data testing and system acceptance tests conducted by operating personnel.
