Job description

Senior Finance Manager – South Dublin – Manufacturing – up to €130,000 plus package

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and insights to support business decision-making, with a strong focus on process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate and prepare monthly financial reports, including performance dashboards and key metrics.
  • Lead financial planning and forecasting activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment across teams. Co-ordinate annual budgets, working with key category managers across the business
  • Analyze financial results to explain business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand cost drivers and improve financial visibility, particularly in procurement and manufacturing.
  • Drive improvements in month-end processes, standardize reporting requirements, and champion the use of Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Enhance inventory and cost accounting reporting to provide better insights into operations.
  • Support strategic initiatives and provide financial input into key business decisions such as cost analysis and make-or-buy evaluations.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Promote continuous improvement across finance functions, contributing to automation and efficiency efforts.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid experience in financial control and business partnering roles.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and P&L ownership.
  • Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Hyperion, or Essbase is a plus.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and SOX-compliant environments.
  • Analytical mindset with a detail-oriented and solution-driven approach.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to influence through professionalism and credibility.
  • Comfortable managing deadlines and condensing complex information into concise insights.

Remuneration:

  • Up to €130,000 plus bonus, pension, health cover, hybrid
