Job summary

RED Mountain Resort BC is seeking an Assistant Director, Snowsports for the 2026/27 Winter season. This leadership role guides the Ski & Snowboard School and supports daily operations.

You will coordinate school group bookings, train lead hands and instructors, and help grow the snowsports marketing plan while assisting with budgeting. This full-time seasonal position runs late October to mid-April, with weekends and holidays required, wage $24–$26 per hour plus uniforms, season pass, and staff

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of instructional or supervisory snowsports experience.
• CASI/CSIA Level 2 or higher required.
• Experience in hospitality and reservations with strong snowschool operations knowledge.
• Ability to lead under pressure in an outdoor environment.
• Sales and marketing budgeting experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the Ski & Snowboard School with the Director.
• Coordinate school group bookings, dates, forms and daily visits.
• Assist in training lead hands, front desk staff and instructors at season start.
• Support budgeting and contribute to growing the snowsports marketing plan.
• Ensure lesson quality standards and staff scheduling.
