Job summary

Clintar in Brantford, Ontario, is seeking a Snow Removal Labourer to support our winter operations. This seasonal, on-call role keeps commercial properties safe and accessible during snow and ice events, with shifts including overnights, weekends, and holidays.

You will operate snow blowers, plows, spreaders, and hand tools to clear sidewalks and parking areas, apply salt and sand, and respond quickly to snow events while staying safe in cold weather.

Qualifications

• Previous snow removal experience is considered an asset but is not required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in challenging winter weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to report to assigned work locations.
• Available for on-call shifts from November through April , including evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow removal equipment such as snow blowers, snowplows, salt spreaders, and other winter maintenance equipment as required .
• Remove snow and ice from commercial sidewalks, parking lots, entrances, walkways, and other designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, and other hand tools.
• Apply salt, sand, and other de-icing materials to improve traction and maintain safe site conditions.
• Respond promptly to snow and ice events, including overnight, weekend, and holiday call-outs .
• Work safely in cold temperatures, snowstorms, and other winter weather conditions.
• Maintain communication with supervisors regarding site conditions, progress, and any concerns.
• Help ensure work is completed efficiently while preventing damage to client property.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Represent Clintar professionally while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
