THE ROLE

As a Snack Bar Attendant, you provide an excellent customer experience in our military messes, golf and curling operations and marinas. During big events to every day moments, you will build a rapport with the military community and get to experience various military traditions.

The Snack Bar Attendant will provide a variety of services such as, preparing food and assisting in the set-up and take down of social and military functions. You will operate a Point of Sales system, provide a clean area and ensure compliance with provincial regulations.

Qualifications Needed

Education, Certifications and Licenses

An acceptable combination of education, training and experience

Food Handling Certification, as required

Experience

In food preparation

In food service

In cash handling

In preparing bank deposits and floats

Competencies

Language Requirements

Bilingual (English and French) Essential

Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg)

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.

Hours are Monday- Friday 0900 - 1300hrs, with additional hours available occasionally.
