The Role at High Level:

We’re looking for a talented SMB Sales Specialist who doesn’t shy away from tackling hard problems and interesting subjects like payroll and HR technology. This position offers salary plus commission based on sales metrics and revenue. You will identify new prospects from relationships built from accountants, referrals, business partners, and direct B2B sales campaigns. You will report directly to our Sales Manager.

Salary for this role is $55,000 - $60,000 CAD with an OTE of $50,000 CAD

What You'll Be Expected To Own:
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Achieve and surpass monthly quotas in a high velocity sales environment
  • Own the End-to-End Sales Cycle: From new lead to actively using our product, guiding the customer and collaborating with our onboarding and risk teams to deliver a seamless launch of our product to clients
  • Be a Partner to our Clients: Become an expert on our product and the industry so you can advise our clients and develop high trust
  • Be Endlessly Curious: You will always be looking to more deeply understand every client and see challenges as an opportunity to grow
  • Invest in yourself: Daily look to grow by reading, listening to podcasts, learning from your peers and teammates, and looking for ways to constantly improve how we get things done
  • Thrive in Ambiguity: Change is a constant as we look to grow quickly and as such you will need to be prepared to change with it
  • Deliver for the Team: Go above and beyond to not just deliver against your own goals but support team and company initiatives
What You Bring To The Table:
  • Previous SMB sales experience, ideally within payroll software or SaaS.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • An ability to sell on value vs features and functions
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • A deep sense of curiosity and desire to grow
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage opportunities and communications.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
