Your Impact

As an SMB Account Executive you will drive significant growth by expanding our reach within the restaurant technology sector. In this pivotal role, you'll manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, directly impacting our market share and strengthening relationships with key small to medium-sized businesses. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and contribute to a rapidly scaling global company, with ample room for professional development and career advancement.

  • This is a full-time, hybrid role offering 4 days in our Toronto office and 1 day from the comfort of your home.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and engage promising businesses through industry research, online tools, and strategic networking, contributing to pipeline generation.
  • Collaborate with the team to refine outreach strategies and enhance prospecting efforts, focusing on activity metrics.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the challenges faced by small-scale businesses to effectively communicate Deliverect's value proposition, with a focus on efficiency gains, ROI improvement, and simplified order management.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for busy business owners and operators, utilizing your knowledge of APIs, integrations, POS systems, and third-party delivery services to demonstrate Deliverect's capabilities.
  • Craft compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to each client's unique needs, aiming for increased deal size and attach rates.
  • Navigate objections confidently and close deals that drive revenue growth, directly contributing to target achievement.
  • Cultivate strong connections with business owners and operators, becoming a trusted advisor and ongoing resource, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders including Partnership, Marketing, Product, and Growth Account Management (GAM) teams, acting as a central point for client feedback and collaborative strategy development.
  • Make independent decisions on lead prioritization and initial client engagement strategies, escalating complex technical or pricing inquiries to relevant internal teams or management for guidance.
  • Exhibit creativity in developing tailored sales pitches and identifying unique solutions to address individual client pain points, improving customer experiences.

What You Will Bring

  • 2+ years of full sales cycle experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or the restaurant technology space, ERP enterprise solutions, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong technical acumen with a solid understanding of APIs, integrations, POS systems, and third-party delivery services.
  • Proven track record of Target Attainment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle objections effectively, and strong negotiation and persuasion skills demonstrated through successful deal closures.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to pivot strategies to achieve results.
  • A solutions-driven mindset, consistently identifying and providing innovative solutions to new problems faced by clients, and contributing to the improvement of Deliverect's offerings.

Nice to have

  • Fluency in a second language (French or Spanish) is a plus
  • Familiarity with HubSpot
