About the role

We are looking for a Security Engineer to join Interop Labs' engineering team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness, reliability, and security of the ecosystem. If you are passionate about blockchain security, thrive on solving complex problems, and enjoy collaborating cross-functionally, this role is for you.

Your responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth security assessments of the codebase, smart contracts, and integrations.

• Identify potential vulnerabilities and propose solutions to mitigate risks.

• Work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

• Develop and improve scripts, tools, and practices for secure key management and cryptographic operations.

• Support the team in investigating and responding to security incidents, including post-incident analysis and developing preventive measures.

• Keep up with the latest developments in blockchain security, cryptographic techniques, and industry best practices to continuously improve our security posture.

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience in a security engineering role in web3.

• Proven experience in securing blockchain protocols, smart contracts, or cryptographic systems.

• Strong programming skills, particularly in languages such as Rust, Solidity, or Go.

• Deep understanding of cryptographic principles and blockchain architectures.

• Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential vulnerabilities.

• Hands-on experience with penetration testing, code audits, or security research in Web3 ecosystems.

• Excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams.

• Experience working in cross-functional fully remote environments.
