Empire Roofing Corporation is seeking an experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Mississauga. We are a busy construction/roofing company serving the industrial and commercial sectors. For over 40 years, Empire Roofing Corporation has continued to grow our workforce and is seeking individuals for full-time, year-round employment. Primary Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair small engines and construction equipment (cutters, generators, compressors, etc.).
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire changes, and minor repairs.
• Drive to job sites to troubleshoot and repair equipment as required.
• Conduct inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety checks.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in a safe, working condition.
• Complete documentation for service and repairs performed.
• Support shop operations and assist roofing crews when required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on mechanical experience with small engines and vehicles.
• Valid Working at Heights certificate (mandatory).
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and travel to job sites.
• Safety-oriented with excellent attention to detail.
• Physically capable of performing a demanding role involving lifting, bending, and standing.
