Job summary

A leading company in Thunder Bay is seeking a Small Engine / Marine Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess at least a 3rd-year Automotive Apprentice status or a Heavy-Duty Journeyman ticket, combined with marine or small engine experience. This role offers a competitive salary of $70,000 to $110,000 per year, with additional perks after the initial probation period.

Formal Title : Small Engine / Marine Technician Location(s) : Thunder Bay, ON

Skill Levels : Automotive Journeyman, 3rd yr Apprentices OR Heavy-Duty Journeyman (w marine or small engine experience)

Pay : Negotiable depending on level of experience

Expect to Earn (after bonus) : $70,000.00 to $110,000.00 / year

Benefits : After 90-days (negotiable)

Vacation : 2 weeks, after 1-yr (negotiable)

Relocation Assistance : Forgivable loans

Role Requirements :

  • MUST HAVE MIN Automotive Apprentice, 3rd yr; OR,
  • MUST HAVE Min Heavy-Duty Journeyman Ticket (with marine or small engine experience); OR,
  • MUST HAVE Min 3-5 yrs of experience working on Marine or Small Engines with a desire to pursue an apprenticeship.
  • MUST HAVE your own tools
  • MUST HAVE high level of communication skills with the ability to communicate to customers, management, and colleagues.
  • MUST HAVE the ability to speak perfect English.
