Job Description: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Practice – Northwest Surrey

Location: Beautiful market town in Northwest Surrey – under 30 mins by train to London, yet close to stunning countryside.

We are working with a friendly, independent, family-run small animal practice in Northwest Surrey who are currently on the lookout for a new Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced and supportive team.

You will be part of a well-established team, with access to visiting orthopaedic surgeons (allowing TPLOs etc. to be kept in-house) and an Advanced Practitioner in Cardiology who supports complex cardiac cases. It’s a fantastic environment for those who enjoy case continuity and clinical development.

️ Team & Facilities:

Accredited nurse training practice

2 RVNs and 2 SVNs

Dental X-ray, ultrasound, Tonovet, in-house lab and more ...

Strong emphasis on case work-up and continuity

Scheduled admin time and guaranteed lunch breaks

Accommodation available

Free on-street parking

️ The Rota:

Full-time = 4-day week + shared Saturdays

Open to part-time or flexible hours

Days structured for either consults or surgery to support skill development

What’s on Offer:

Salary up to £78,000 (DOE)

£2,000 CPD allowance + certificate support

RCVS & VDS fees paid – open to supporting other memberships

Discounted staff purchases

Visa sponsorship considered
