Gateway Casino is seeking a customer-service professional for the Slot Attendant role. This part-time position offers a wage of $19.01 per hour and involves working in a fast-paced, exciting casino environment. The role focuses on providing front-line support to guests, including observing slot machines, offering game instructions, and ensuring a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote casino promotions and manage slot machine reservations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and provincial regulations
• Manage cash floats, verify jackpots, and provide payouts
• Report violations and escalate issues as necessary
• Maintain slot machines and monitor for prompt service
• Stay informed on slot operation policies and procedures
• Perform additional duties as needed

What You Bring

• Experience handling cash and working with the public
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work quickly
• Basic knowledge of slot machines is an asset
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects
• Completion of Serving It Right certificate before start date
• Ability to register with BCLC
• Teamwork, multitasking skills, and willingness to learn
