Position: Construction Labourer with room to advance to Team Lead.

Education

No degree, certificate or diploma needed.

Credentials: Certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc. are an asset but not required. Examples include Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate; Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC); Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.

Specific Skills

1. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
2. Mix, pour and spread materials
3. Load, unload and transport construction materials
4. Assist in demolishing buildings
5. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, etc.
6. Clean and pile salvaged materials
7. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants

Equipment and Machinery Experience

Drills; Reciprocating saws; Circular saws

Construction Specialization

Residential; Industrial, commercial and institutional

Weight Handling

Up to 23Kg (50lbs)

Security and Safety

Bondable; Driving record check (abstract); Criminal record check
