Job Title : Plater

Job Description

Join a dynamic team of 4-5 professionals responsible for chemically treating parts from the production floor. You will learn and execute processes such as alodine, anodizing (chromic and sulfuric), and passivation. This role requires adherence to strict timing-based processes to ensure quality treatment.

Responsibilities

• Chemically treat parts using alodine, anodize, and passivate processes.
• Follow precise protocols for chemical dipping and handling.
• Work collaboratively with a team to ensure production goals are met.

Essential Skills

Manufacturing or production with a minimum of 1 year experience.

Knowledge of chemical handling and processes.

Ability to manage time-oriented tasks efficiently.

Familiarity with WHMIS, electroplating, anodizing, passivation, chromic and sulfuric processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with alodine, anodize, and passivate processes.

Work Environment

Located in Sidney, near Victoria International Airport, this unionized facility offers an afternoon shift from 4 : 30 PM to 3 AM, Monday to Thursday. Please note that the shift is not transit accessible due to timelines. Overtime compensation is available after 40 hours of work per week.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00 / hr.
