Job description

Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is currently looking for a Skilled Construction Labourer to work on the Makwa Waakaa’igan building project at Algoma University in Sault St. Marie, Ontario. This is your chance to work with one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies!

Qualifications & Duties

  • Experience with industrial, commercial, or institutional construction is an asset.
  • Experience with rough/light carpentry, including rough carpentry, parapets, and backing.
  • Ability to perform general construction tasks such as using power tools, pumping water, setting up perimeter fencing, cleaning the site, applying foundation insulation, and installing doors, hardware, and washroom accessories.
  • Operate equipment such as telehandlers and skid steers.
  • Perform snow removal and other seasonal maintenance as required.
  • Excellent work ethic and safety-oriented.
  • Fall-Arrest Certified.
  • Ability to take direction and also work with minimal direction or oversight.
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently.
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
  • Assist and support tradespersons.
  • Willing to perform site clean-up duties.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and your own vehicle.
