What you will do:

  • Work safely and follow safe work practices and procedures while on site.
  • Work along side apprentices and labourers to provide direction, guidance, and training.
  • Assist with the construction of all types residential buildings including, wood, steel, and concrete throughout the various stages of build.
  • Work with hand and power carpentry tools and other construction equipment.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.

What you bring to the Team:

  • Strong Carpentry Skills
  • 2+ years of experience working on high density residential construction projects/buildings.
  • A can-do attitude and always willing to learn.
  • Physically fit (ability to lift 50+ lbs, in and outdoors)
  • A team work mentality – you are willing jump into any situation to help out and lend a hand, no job is above or below you.
  • A sense or urgency and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • The ability to read blueprints and an understanding of the BC Building Code.
  • First Aid considered an asset (OFA 2 or 3)
