Job description

Location: Hannon, Ontario

Pay:

  • $20-24 per hour
  • Benefits after 3 months
  • Company matching RRSP after one year

Job Duties:

  • Operate skid steer on horticultural projects, assisting with tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation.
  • Load and transport materials to and from job sites, including soil, mulch, stone, and debris.
  • Assist in various landscape construction projects, including grading, leveling, and preparing sites for planting or hardscape installations.
  • Ensure equipment is properly fueled, maintained, and in good working order at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and material are securely stored on-site.
  • Work closely with the crew to complete daily tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Follow safety guidelines and ensure the proper operation of equipment at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreperson, including assisting with landscaping tasks when needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s license with a good driver’s abstract.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious approach to equipment operation.
  • Experience in landscaping or construction is an asset.
  • Experience operating a skid steer.
