Job summary

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies' Kimberley Alpine Resort Winter Sports School is hiring full-time ski and snowboard instructors of all levels. Join a training-focused program with Level 3 & 4 trainers, and opportunities to lead tours and events.

Minimum requirements include CSIA Level 1 or CASI Level 1, at least two seasons teaching, legal work status in Canada, fluency in English, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• CSIA Level 1 or CASI Level 1 certification (or international equivalent).
• Min 2 seasons teaching experience.
• Valid Canadian work permit or visa.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Availability on weekends and holidays.
• Strong team player who thrives in a small, tight-knit crew.

Responsibilities

• Teach both group and private lessons to guests of all ages.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Ensure a fun and safe learning environment.
• Adhere to Winter Sports School policies and procedures.
• Additional opportunities to lead Snowshoe Tours, Fat Bike Tours, and assist with resort events.

What We’re Looking For:

Wage Scale (Hourly):

• Level 1: $21.50 – $22.00
• Level 2: $25.25 – $26.00
• Level 3: $27.25 – $28.50
• Level 4: $32.25 – $33.25

Plus:

• Lesson Commissions: Starting at 10%, with incentives up to 20%
• Additional pay increases for years of experience and multi-discipline certifications
