What we're looking for:
- ACMG Apprentice Ski Guide or Ski Guide qualification required.
- 80-hour first aid, e.g. WFR, OEC, OFA3 or higher required.
- CAA Avalanche Operations Level 2 required (Professional membership an asset).
- People who are passionate about the outdoors and showing clients what the Sea-To-Sky has to offer.
The day-to-day:
- Guiding and instructing a wide range of tours and courses, including single and multi-day ski touring, crevasse rescue, hut trips, AST2 and more.
- Provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all clients.
- Provide mentorship to other guides at MSAA, including tail guides/practicums.
- Plan itineraries for private and custom clients.
- Attending and contributing to morning and afternoon guide meetings.
- Coordinating with the office and other guides to organize the day.
- Problem-solving on-the-go.
