Job summary

Foresters Financial Services, Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Web Developer to design, code and test web components using Sitecore as the core platform for digital assets.

You will collaborate with tech leads, PMs, QA, UX and architects to deliver scalable solutions, focusing on front-end and back-end integration. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, JavaScript and Sitecore, plus hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, RESTful APIs and modern UI frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant professional certifications for key technologies.
• 5+ years of experience developing, integrating and deploying sites with C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server.
• Experience with Sitecore Framework is required
• Agile experience in a corporate environment
• Experience with Jira/Azure DevOps/WIX/NUnit tools and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop Sitecore templates, pages, components, and integrated services.
• Maintain and repair existing properties; work on backend and frontend components (including integration with databases).
• Author and/or perform tests according to test plan and document results; debug in test and production environments.
• Run and maintain agile projects and tickets backlog in Jira, Azure and/or MF ALM.
