What’s The Role
Shell is seeking a Site Time Focal to join their team at the Sarnia Refinery. This role is responsible for all payroll and scheduling entries, including reporting, problem-solving, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will serve as administrative support for the Asset Teams.
Accountabilities:
Payroll
- Maintain proficiency in Schedule Pro, Workday, SharePoint, and SAP programs, and stay updated on Hourly Payroll Practices and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for SchedulePro, used for shift scheduling and timesheets by Production Team Members.
- Ensure timely and accurate input of exception time into Schedule Pro (overtime, absences, shift changes, work up).
- Serve as a resource for payroll inquiries/issues, consulting with the Shell Hourly Time Focal and HR Service Desk as needed.
- Audit time entries before payroll deadlines each pay period per HR standards.
- Assist in year-end quota balance reconciliations for payouts and carryovers.
- Ensure quota entitlements are correctly displayed in SAP for each hourly employee in Quarter 1 annually.
- Coordinate with HR and payroll teams on overtime policy issues, data entry, and reporting processes.
- Compile various reports, including monthly overtime, quarterly absence, and year-end sickness reports.
- Provide backup support for other Production Time Focals with time entry and inquiries.
- Onboard new hourly and staff employees regarding pay practices and timesheet processes via presentations or emails.
- Coach hourly workers and Production Team Leads to ensure process effectiveness and consistency.
- Assist the Production Supervisor with scheduling changes monthly.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage administration tasks such as stationery orders, meeting scheduling, and office management.
- Ensure timely resolution of expense statements.
- Serve as SharePoint Functional Site Owner for the Asset team.
- Act as SharePoint Records Management Focal for the Asset team.
- Support production with ad-hoc projects.
- Perform other duties as required.
What You Bring
- Legal authorization to work in Canada full-time, outside current employment.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Office Administration certificate preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience with SharePoint Online, Office 365, SAP, and Schedule Pro preferred.
- Proficiency in managing pay entries using Schedule Pro, Workday, SAP, and developing SharePoint libraries.
- Experience with SharePoint migrations and post-migration issue resolution.
- Solid understanding of OneDrive, SharePoint workflows, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Ability to implement changes to SharePoint pages/environments.
