A leading utility contractor in Canada is seeking a Site Supervisor for substation construction. You will manage daily on-site activities, leading a crew of 25-50 people, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Candidates should possess a Journeyman designation in a related trade, alongside supervisory experience in the construction industry. Our Substations group is currently looking to add a Site Supervisor (Substation Construction) to our growing team, based in Alberta (Calgary / Edmonton) or Ontario (Toronto / Thunder Bay).
Reporting to the Construction Manager (Substations), the Site Supervisor manages and oversees all daily on-site construction activities. In this role the Site Supervisor is expected to lead on-site crew while ensuring project construction is executed effectively and within budget. The Site Supervisor is also responsible for submitting timesheets for his / her crew in a timely manner and will act as the main point of contact for the Project Manager, the subcontractors and Client in conjunction with the PM.
Please Note : This is a Field based position and must be able to accommodate multiple shift requirements based on Project Schedules
