Job summary

Commercial Cleaning Services is seeking a Site Supervisor at our Trenton, ON facility. You will oversee janitorial staff, ensure high-quality cleaning services, and uphold safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The role requires at least two years in a leadership role within facility services, familiarity with cleaning practices, and strong people management skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a facility services leadership role.
• Knowledge of cleaning industry best practices and eco-friendly products/equipment.
• Demonstrated people management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools.
• Police Background Check required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional client service through regular communication with onsite representatives.
• Prepare shift schedules and assignments to meet contract requirements and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Promote a safe, healthy work environment by following safety policies and procedures.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Manage ordering of supplies, tools, and equipment; oversee preventative maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleaning standards.
• Support cleaning duties as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with radio systems.

We have an immediate opening for a Site Supervisor at one of our facilities in Trenton, ON. In this role, you will oversee a team of janitorial staff, ensuring high-quality cleaning services are delivered while maintaining our standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Pay rate: $48,500 Annually

As a site supervisor, your duties may include…

• Ensure that the client receives exceptional customer service through regular communication with onsite representatives, responding to service quality issues on a timely basis and promoting a service-oriented culture
• Prepare shift schedules and work assignments in accordance with contract requirements, ensuring the efficient delivery of services
• Promote a healthy & safe work environment by ensuring that all CCS employees follow safe operating policies and procedures
• Provide support with the training of new employees
• Ordering of supplies, tools & equipment and management of a preventative maintenance program
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Support with cleaning duties
• Manage communication with radio
• Other duties as reasonably required from time to time

What do I need?

• Minimum of two year’s experience working within the facility services industry in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of best practices in the cleaning industry including cleaning processes, environmentally sustainable products, tools, equipment and machinery
• Demonstrated people management, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to problem-solve and meet unforeseen demands
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools
• Police Background Check

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 40 pounds
• Stand and/or walk throughout the duration of the shift
• Able to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry, climb stairs
• Operate equipment when required
