Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor to lead and oversee our underground diamond drilling projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all aspects of the project are executed efficiently, safely, and within the defined quality standards and timelines. This role requires excellent leadership, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of the underground diamond drilling process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations on-site, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
  • Lead and coordinate with managers, team members, and stakeholders to maintain clear communication and a smooth workflow.
  • Use drilling software to monitor project progress, track key metrics, and manage documentation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality control standards and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support to site team members to foster a productive and knowledgeable workforce.
  • Address operational issues, mechanical challenges, or safety concerns quickly to minimize project delays and risks.
  • Continuously ensure that project objectives, safety guidelines, and industry best practices are met.

Required Experience And Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the diamond drilling or drilling industry.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to unexpected situations.
  • In-depth knowledge of underground diamond drilling processes, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with drilling software and site documentation practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in challenging outdoor and underground environments.
