Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of hands-on building operations experience, preferably commercial.
  • Experience in a Power Engineering lead role is an asset.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract required.

What does your day look like at Edon?

  • Assume responsibility for all aspects of operations of the assigned building portfolio, including guiding, supporting, and training employees and subcontractors on site
  • Participate in training of new personnel, and in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, and policies related to the operational needs of the building portfolio
  • Perform regular building operations and maintenance tasks as required
  • Collaborate with operational and contract management teams to carry out property management activities, ensuring service quality and technical standards
  • Ensure contract terms are met, including reporting requirements and standards adherence
  • Respond to service requests and emergencies promptly
  • Represent Edon professionally, building positive relationships with clients, tenants, and subcontractors on-site
What do you need to succeed?

  • Valid 4th Class or 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate (new)
  • Minimum of five years of hands-on building operations experience, preferably in a commercial environment
  • Experience in a Power Engineering lead role involving team management is an asset
  • Deep understanding of building operations and systems
  • Strong computer skills, including CMMS and BMCS systems
  • Exceptional customer service, leadership, and client liaison skills
  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Available for on-call rotation
