Position Summary

The Site Supervisor exceeds client expectations through managing vendors, adhering to project schedules, quality control and ensuring projects remain on-budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting to ensure stable work flows and schedules for each project.
  • Trade management and accountability.
  • Manage jobs cost effectively to avoid cost over-runs.
  • Document on a regular basis the issues/concerns and actioning items for resolution.
  • Completing all required paperwork, job control charts and construction checklists.
  • Managing Serviceman and cleaning hours effectively by job
  • Proactively anticipates problems/challenges, assesses risks, and implements timely solutions to keep work moving safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements.
  • Plans, organizes, and oversees site activities to optimize productivity, coordinate trades and resources, and meet project schedules and objectives.
  • Provide effective support and leadership to the construction team.
  • Exercises sound judgment in managing site activities independently, taking ownership of decisions, results, and corrective actions when issues arise.
  • Structure & Organization: Plans and organizes daily site activities to ensure efficient workflows, clear priorities, and consistent progress against project schedules.
  • Provides responsive, professional customer service that supports strong client relationships, a positive experience to clients, and project success.
  • Results oriented – work smarter not harder.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of every project at all times.
Qualifications – Education & Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Site Supervisor role.

  • Effectively manage a number of projects at once.
  • Maintains composure and clear decision-making during high-pressure situations.
  • Professional communication with key stakeholders to avoid or minimize conflict and resolve conflict when it arises.
  • Effective e-mail management.
  • Construction management software experience.
  • Microsoft experience.
Working Conditions
  • Active construction sites with regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, and navigating uneven terrain throughout the workday.
  • Regular exposure to construction-related hazards; strict adherence to safety procedures and use of required PPE is mandatory.
  • Work environment may include noise, dust, vibrations, and heavy equipment in operation.
  • Schedule may include early mornings, extended hours, evenings, or occasional weekends to meet project schedules.
  • Requires constant on-site presence to supervise crews, coordinate subcontractors, and monitor work quality and safety.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move materials and equipment as needed.
  • Travel between job sites.
