Are you an experienced Site Superintendent with a passion for overseeing large-scale residential projects? Do you have a proven track record of managing teams, ensuring quality, and delivering projects on time and within budget? If so, we want you to join our team! We are looking for a skilled Site Superintendent to manage the on-site operations for multi-use, multi-unit development projects. You will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring projects are completed according to design specifications, schedules, and budgetary constraints. As a Site Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in coordinating trades, managing teams, and keeping stakeholders informed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire construction process from start to finish for multi-unit residential developments.
  • Manage and coordinate on-site activities, including scheduling subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, and monitoring progress.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Lead daily site meetings, safety briefings, and inspections to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges, ensuring that the project remains on schedule and within budget.
  • Maintain clear communication with Project Managers, architects, and other stakeholders to keep them updated on project progress.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and address any deficiencies as they arise.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive experience as a Site Superintendent in residential construction, particularly in managing multi-unit housing projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage teams and contractors effectively.
  • Ability to oversee multiple phases of construction and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities to address site challenges in real-time.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a supervisory role in residential or multi-unit construction.
  • A diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Occupational Health and Safety (preferred).
  • Proficient in construction management software and reporting tools.
